Gasoline and diesel prices at fuel stations have decreased
According to the website benzin-price.ru, which monitors fuel prices in real time, since the beginning of June the average price of AI-92 gasoline has decreased by 30 kopecks, while AI-95 has fallen by 44 kopecks. Diesel fuel has also become cheaper, declining by 23 kopecks.

As reported by the information and analytical center Cortes, a general decline in retail fuel prices is also observed across Russia. According to the center’s data, the price of “Premium-95” decreased by 3 kopecks to 44.64 rubles per liter, while “Regular-92” fell by 4 kopecks, with the nationwide average price reaching 41.8 rubles per liter.
Prices are also declining in the small wholesale segment, where fuel is typically purchased by smaller fuel stations. The most significant changes affected “Regular-92” gasoline, which decreased by 1.5% to 55.601 thousand rubles per ton. “Premium-95” declined by 1.2% to 56.801 thousand rubles per ton, while “Normal-80” fell by 0.07% to 51.315 thousand rubles per ton.
It should be recalled that gasoline prices had been rising over the past several months. According to Rosstat, in April producers increased gasoline prices by 13% compared to March. As early as May, the average retail fuel prices across Russia exceeded 42 rubles per liter.
As of June 1, the government reduced excise duties on gasoline (by 3,000 rubles per ton) and diesel fuel (by 2,000 rubles per ton). Experts believe that fuel prices will continue to rise.
