Ural Chamber of Commerce and Industry admitted new members
The Ural Chamber of Commerce and Industry has welcomed new members once again, with nineteen small and medium-sized enterprises joining the Chamber. Many of the newly admitted companies have long-standing ties with the Ural Chamber of Commerce and Industry and have repeatedly sought its assistance in addressing their economic interests. They view membership in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry as another step in their business development.
The new members of the Ural Chamber of Commerce and Industry include the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization “Ural Center for the Development of Civic Initiatives and Social Partnership,” JSC “MC GorSvet,” ALFAMONOLIT LLC, GET Biotechnologies LLC, Yekaterinburg Transagency LLC, NPF GeoTrading LLC, Stilkam LLC, PromUral LLC, the Private Cultural Institution “Irbit Museum of Folk Life,” Marusya LLC, and others.

As noted by Dmitry Poddyakov, Development Director of ALFAMONOLIT LLC, the company’s primary objective today is to establish its position in the petroleum products market. The company supplies fuel additives and well cementing mixtures for drilling and plans to produce modified and polymer bitumen, for which demand is not mass-market in nature. Accordingly, the company expects the Ural Chamber of Commerce and Industry to assist in identifying sales markets and consumers for its products. ALFAMONOLIT LLC already has experience working with the Chamber and therefore decided to become a member.
GET Biotechnologies LLC has decided to step out of the informational shadow and begin promoting its products in foreign markets. According to the company’s Executive Director, Sergey Yaroshchuk, presence in international markets will require legal support, protection of intellectual property rights, and assistance in combating counterfeit products. All of these services are provided by the Ural Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in partnership with which the company expects not only to protect its rights but also to improve consumer awareness.
NPF GeoTrading LLC has been engaged for more than two years in the development and implementation of chemical products. As noted by the company’s General Director, Alexander Nazarenko, entering the market is very difficult due to intense competition from foreign monopolists. Significant funding is required for product testing and certification, as well as experience for large-scale market introduction. Therefore, the Yekaterinburg-based company would like to participate in projects implemented by federal and regional authorities and to benefit from the experience accumulated by chemical companies that are members of the Ural Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The founder of the Irbit Museum of Folk Life, Mikhail Smerdov, expects assistance from the Ural Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the development of industrial and ethnographic tourism. According to him, in previous years the Sverdlovsk Region had an effective program compensating transportation costs for tourists visiting museum complexes in Irbit and several other cities in the region, which supported the implementation of cultural projects. Today, such support is no longer available, which affects tourist flows. As Mikhail Smerdov believes, industrial tourism should also be developed, as access to enterprises, for example for schoolchildren, has become almost impossible.
President of the Ural Chamber of Commerce and Industry Andrey Besedin noted that the expectations of new members place a great responsibility on the Chamber. “We are a large family, everyone’s expectations are different, but we are ready to offer even non-standard solutions to specific problems. Therefore, we expect you to be active and to propose your own agenda for our cooperation,” Andrey Besedin concluded.
